The Good for Her Erotic Film Festival presents Sexy Baby with Little Vulvah and Her Clitoral Awareness
These days, sex doesn’t just sell, it saturates our culture. In the age of runaway social media and “sexting,” raunchy rap songs on pop radio and hardcore pornography at the  click of a mouse—what’s it like to be a woman? A girl? A teenage boy? Their parents? In this feature documentary, the directors follow a trio of characters to reveal the toll all this titillation is taking on America and forces viewers to get comfortable having the uncomfortable conversations. Twelve-year-old Winnie is a bright and precocious proto-feminist dividing time between Mom’s house and Dad’s in New York City, but not long after the bat mitzvah celebration that marks her entry into adulthood, the Lady Gaga-loving youngster starts growing up faster than her parents can handle. Pressured by remarks from her porn-loving boyfriend, 22-year-old Laura is spending thousands on surgery to have a top-shelf “designer vagina.” And though she’s officially retired from the adult film industry, 32-year-old Nakita Kash is making her living teaching housewives and college girls how to pole dance like a porno pro. Sexy Baby examines the seismic shift in our society in an age where courtship has been replaced by sexting and kids have access to online porn before sex ed.
Accessibility: Venue is accessible on the main floor and has an accessible washroom.
Location: Innis Town Hall, 2 Sussex Avenue, Toronto.

The Good for Her Erotic Film Festival presents TRANS with Undress Me
TRANS is an extraordinary documentary feature film about men and women… and all the variations in between. It is about the Transgender Community, perhaps the most misunderstood and mistreated minority in America and around the world. Inspired by the incredible story of Dr. Christine McGinn, (herself a transwoman) and her important work as a transgender surgeon, TRANS provides an up-close and very personal vision into the lives, loves, and challenges of a remarkable cast of characters of all ages and from all walks of life. We will meet 7-year-old Danann Tyler and her parents as she boldly sets forth on a long and complex journey. We will meet Cris, assigned female at birth who is just discovering “his true gender identity.” We will follow Pam and Erica, through surgery and beyond, as they discover the thrill and the heartbreak of transitioning late in life and risking everything to be able to be “their authentic selves.” We will witness the tragedy of a teenage transwoman who had lost her way. From the dark and dangerous streets, to the quiet sanctity of the operating room, TRANS will take you into a world you have never before imagined.
Accessibility: Venue is accessible on the main floor and has an accessible washroom.
Location: Innis Town Hall, 2 Sussex Avenue, Toronto.
Tickets: $10 in advance. Buy them online or in person at Good for Her, 175 Harbord Street, Toronto.

Tell Me Something Good Storytelling: FPA Edition
Inspired by Bawdy Storytelling in California, Tell Me Something Good brings sexy storytelling to Toronto! Samantha Fraser and Sophie Delancey are your lovely co-hosts every month for your storytelling pleasure. Tell Me Something Good is your opportunity to share short stories of sexual glory, gaffes, and growth for the chance to win sexy prizes. You sign up and we’ll toss names into a hat to pick up to 10-15 storytellers for slots of up to 5 minutes each. There are points for engaging with the audience (so don’t just read the whole thing!) and it must be a true story! This month’s theme, in honour of the FPAs, is Visuals and Voyeurs. We want to hear your sexy stories that touch on anything related to watching others, being watched, making your own porn, watching porn, being walked IN on while watching porn, reading erotica…if it has to do with getting off and other people? We want to hear it. Don’t be afraid to stretch the theme a little if you need to, but do *try* and stay on topic.
Accessibility: Contact organizers.
Location: The Melody Bar at the Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen Street West, Toronto.

The Good for Her Erotic Film Festival presents Women Will Come: Women Redefining Pornography
Good for Her Sex presents the first annual festival of films on sex, love, gender and pleasure. As a feminist and a storyteller, I’m constantly re-interpreting, re-educating and challenging myself to understand the evolving confines of contemporary feminism.  Naturally, I’m interested in how other self-identified women create their own expression of feminism through artistic, political, or educational avenues. By picking up a camera and documenting the kind of sex they want to see, the pornographers featured in Women Will Come: Women Redefining Pornography have challenged the status quo and are stirring up a much needed discussion regarding the representation of bodies, sexuality and the language of filmmaking used to do it. With director Joanne Loton in attendance.
See below for information on All-Inclusive Tickets.
